Are there sources or tools that can check the APA formatting in my paper?

Regrettably, no, there are not. Despite the fact that robots and electronic “assistants” help humans do all sorts of tasks, electronic proofreading tools aren’t sufficiently sophisticated to be trusted when the grade for an assignment or a course is at stake. For now, checking APA formatting remains entirely the student’s responsibility.
